Program details
Live the dream in one of the greatest natural wonders in the world with this magnificent Macuco safari that includes a wagon trail through the jungle, a hike, a motorboat cruise and a refreshing ‘waterfall shower’ followed by a thrilling rafting experience.
The fun begins on a Jeep-towed open wagon trail through three kilometres through the Iguazu National Park, where you will see canyons, wild animals and a spectacular view of the falls. The hike is the second stage of our adventure and there’s a 600-metre stretch that leads to the Macuco Falls, which spills down from a height of some 20 metres and is a perfect for a refreshing dip on hot days.
Hop aboard the motor boat for an upriver cruise until reaching the base of the falls is, next to the falls known as the ‘Devil’s Throat’. The captain manoeuvres the boat in order to get close enough to provide the passengers with a quick and refreshing shower.
You will receive instructions from the coordinators as well as lifejacket and helmet before beginning the tour, passing by the Three Musketeers waterfall. Massimo Desiati, a five-time Brazilian canoeing champion, coordinates the rafting tour.
