Program details
Visit a selection of the numerous cultural attractions situated in Nha Trang. Places of interest visited include the Oceanographic Institute, Long Son Pagoda, the 14-meter-high white Buddha statue that overlooks Nha Trang has become a symbol of the city, built in commemoration of the monks and nuns who died whilst fighting the Diem Government.
The Po Nagar, the best preserved Cham towers in central Vietnam, stand two km north of Nha Trang on the bank of the Cai River. The site housed a Hindu shrine as early as the second century. Enjoy a sumptuous Vietnamese lunch, and also visit local markets, and a rice paper factory.
