Your adventure then continues to Rapperswil, renowned for its ominous mediaeval castle, and on to the green and hilly region of Appenzell.

Delve into the cheese factory that elaborates the famous Appenzeller cheese. Learn all there is to learn about the fascinating cheese making process and the ancient traditions that are still typical in this region. Before heading off to a tour of the picturesque village of Appenzell, enjoy a simply heavenly cheese tasting.

During your free time, we suggest you enjoy the local specialties in one of the little cosy Appenzeller restaurants. The pedestrian zone, with its charming facades, makes a great backdrop for a little shopping spree.
