Program details
Flamenco is more than a dance form or music genre – it’s a way of life. To fully appreciate what it means to Spaniards, you have to attend a live show at the Tablao Cardamomo in Madrid so that you can feel the passion and appreciate the emotion of the raw and powerful music. Observe the facial expressions of the performers and see first-hand how they whip themselves into a frenetic frenzy that only dancing can release.
You can live and breathe these experiences in the flesh at the Cardamomo, one of Madrid’s most famous venues. This is a Spanish dance extravaganza that will set your pulses racing as you are blown away by the fire and vibrancy of this compelling dance form.
The Cardamomo unites a dance that blooms from a natural expression of feelings with the experiences of your own inner emotions while enjoying dinner or a drink. Flamenco is blood, passion, emotion, the raw language of the heart shouted out to awaken the heart and the soul of the world. Flamenco is life itself, the very centre of the universe. Flamenco is immortal. Such is the uniqueness of flamenco that it has been declared a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity by Unesco – one of just 166 in the world.
