The best movie sites around the Big Apple have been carefully selected to share with you. Remember classic films such as King Kong and An Affair to Remember, which featured the Empire State Building. Stop and take a peek at this historic landmark. Cross to Central Park and learn about the dozens of films set in the park, including the first motion picture ever made in New York City... Try your hand at matching the Central Park filming locations to movie clips from various periods in the City's history - from Thomas Edison shorts to Ghostbusters.



Continue down the east side of Manhattan for a look at Holly Golightly's brownstone apartment from Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Venture into neighbourhoods such as Sutton Place, for a fantastic view of the Manhattan Bridge, as in Woody Allen’s Manhattan and the market showcased in this film and You've Got Mail. See the subway grate where Marilyn Monroe's skirt flew up in The Seven Year Itch, and go on location to Grand Central Terminal, seen in North by Northwest and Superman.
