Program details

The Early Access Sistine Chapel experience is perfect for visitors who want to see the famous chapel before the crowds arrive and spend more time enjoying Rome and the Vatican City at a leisurely pace.

Our Early Access Sistine Chapel experience allows you to go in and marvel at the spectacular Sistine Chapel before the crowds arrive, giving you access sooner than all other tour groups and the general public. What could be more inspiring than seeing Michelangelo’s renowned ceiling first hand in all its glory without all the jostling crowds. Our Early Access Sisting Chapel group meets early in the morning, skipping the long lines already forming outside the Vatican Museus and entering before the doors have been officially opened. You will then be accompanied into the Sistine Chapel where you can quietly contemplate the beauty of this incredible place. Once you have spent some time in this mesmerising building, you can then choose to enter the Vatican Museums and wander the Papal Palace at your own pace. Your guide will introduce you to the most important sides of the museum, and then leave you to continue your tour through the Vatican’s nine-mile art collection at your leisure. If time is short you can you can move onto your next destination, happy that you have witnessed first hand Rome’s finest masterpiece.

With only 20 people or less per group and a maximum of two groups running per day, your Sistine experience will be as intimate as it should be.
